To not have this move in circles - FBL is fresh and cool and young and thus has several issues necessary to be fixed before ready for production. Just sayin' - be careful on this platform - use FF and NoScript and rather wait until it's ripe before using it excessively.
My responsibility for Advin is not only building this site but making sure users are fine a safe. The only thing I can say w/o injuring contracts - be careful with new stuff. Don't trust platforms blindly - ask your house hacker if it's alright to do so. I am not speaking out warnings here w/o reason. I hate to do so actually.
thanks for the info! will def be careful and most likely stay away. theres not much reason i can see why i would use it or get any real value out of it.
Sure - point is just: trusting a fresh approach is equivalent to saying "okay - take my account and do whatever with u want to". Forgive me my paranoia in this case - but better be safe than sorry. U or any user here loosing her/his private data is a big bummer. We don't want that. FBL is cool - just don't _trust_ it. Meaning: it's young thus it's vulnerable. We are young too but our tech team is primary focused on doing things in a secure manner rather than creating a buzz with an unripe product.
I don't want to sound too offensive but todays webapps deal with values equivalent to - well - a car... or your online identity. Does your password on FB really differ from the one u use on Gmail? If your FB gets hacked - your other accounts are gone too. A script does the job - not a busy attacker.
